cKinetics is an Indo-US start-up that is building its
New Delhi team and is looking for outstanding entrepreneurial business
leaders with a demonstrated ability at intellectual rigor, analytical
thinking, creativity, and a passion for delivering outstanding,
game-changing solutions to clients.
The Engagement Managers are required to lead
consulting engagements focused at shaping solutions for some of
today’s most pressing global issues. The ideal candidates should be
seeking to build a career in the rapidly-emerging field of business
sustainability and strategic environmental management and be keen to
join a start-up and share in the rewards (and pangs) of institution
building. Interdisciplinary thinkers will thrive in our work
environment.
Position deliverables:
The role envisages the following activities:
1. End-to-end delivery responsibility for engagements:
- Monitoring the timely and cost-effective
management of client projects (tracking deliverables, timelines, and
progress against goals) and managing and coaching junior team members
- Developing impactful client recommendations and
delivering them through world-class written and oral presentations
2. Undertake relevant field work for various projects
and provide on ground operational support to cKinetics’ partners and
clients, while coordinating with clients and team members in India &
across the globe.
3. Building on relationships with potential and
existing clients and be responsible for the business development in
the assigned areas
4. Participating in internal initiatives relating to
thought leadership, client service, or team development
About you:
- You must have a strong character and are looking to join a
start-up in its early stages and share in the rewards of building an
institution.
- You are a proactive and independent person who has a demonstrated
passion as relates to sustainability.
- You are looking to lead projects and efforts on your own.
You must have:
- A Masters degree and 6-10 years of relevant work experience in
business strategy and organizational leadership. Management
consulting experience at a highly respected firm strongly preferred
- An understanding of the sustainability,
environmental and/or energy domain issues including emerging areas of
GHG (Green House Gas) emission control and climate change adaptation
measures. Experience in change management or product innovation a plus
- An ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an
energetic start-up environment
- Demonstrated ability to be an individual contributor
as also work in teams.
- Led projects independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven business development skills
Location:
New Delhi, India
Compensation:
Linked to experience. Compensation package includes a base salary
with the opportunity for a significant bonus based on individual and
company performance.

Role: Sr Associate
cKinetics is looking for energetic professionals with a background in strategy consulting, business analysis or strategic marketing, with a passion for sustainability issues. The right candidate should be:

- Able and willing to take on a disproportionate level of responsibility at this stage of his/her career.
Background:
cKinetics is an Indo-US venture accelerator catalyzing rapid adoption of low carbon sustainable growth practices in emerging economies through technology transfer, capital access and adaptation interventions. As emerging economies grow there exists an opportunity to leapfrog the development of newer industry and community infrastructure to be more efficient, sustainable and hence more profitable. cKinetics was founded in 2009 by a team passionate about using market based solutions and industry dynamics to address this most pressing issue of our time: sustainably driven growth and development.
Role:
Selected person(s) will join cKinetics’ Eco-Efficiency & Sustainability practice which focuses on:
- Business process advisory and master franchising of market based solutions
- Climate change impact assessments and adaptation and mitigation strategies
- Life cycle assessments and sustainability design
- Training and certification programs
The role envisages the following activities:

- Building on relationships with potential and existing clients and be responsible for the business development in the assigned areas
About you:

You must have:
- Have a Masters degree/ MBA / CA and 3-4 years of relevant work experience
- Have strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation skills
- Have consulting experience, specifically operational consulting, with a focus on operational efficiency management, process mapping and/ or new product development
- Have client interaction/ management experience
- Strategic thinking abilities for business development
- Ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic start-up environment
- Demonstrated ability to be an individual contributor as also work in teams.

Compensation:
CTC: Rs 6 lacs per annum + profit sharing per company norms
